6. Section 4 of the principal Ordinance is amended as follows:-

(a) by the insertion of the words woman, young person, or immediately before the word

'child" in the fourth line of sub-section (1), and in the first and fifth lines of sub-section (2);

(b) by the insertion of the words women, young persons or immediately before the word

children in sub-section (2);

(c) by the addition of the following sub-section at

the end thercof:--

(3) It shall be lawful for the Protector or any inspector, if he has reasonable cause to suspect that an offence against this Ordi- nance has been committed, to remove and to detain in a suitable place for inquiries any young person or child found in any place in, about, or in respect of which such offence (if any) would appear to have been committed.

"

7. Section 5 of the principal Ordinance is amended by the insertion of the words "

young person or immediately before the word child" in each of the

"

five places in which that word occurs in the said section.
